Abstract : More than half of Gujarat`s GSDP comes from the service sector, which has become a major driver of the state`s economic growth and is essential to social development, job creation, and regional competitiveness. Rapid industrialization, robust infrastructure, growing digital transformation, and changing consumer expectations influenced by higher incomes and increased exposure to international service standards are the main factors driving the sector`s growth. This study looks at important service marketing strategies in Gujarat`s main industries, such as banking and finance, retail, healthcare, education, tourism, and IT-enabled services. It evaluates customer satisfaction and service effectiveness using well-known theoretical frameworks like the GAP Model, the SERVQUAL service quality model, and the 7Ps of services marketing. The study also looks at cultural preferences, consumer behavior patterns, and important urban-rural differences that affect service consumption. It also emphasizes the effects of economic policies, government initiatives, and the quickly expanding startup ecosystem. Insights, conclusions, and tactical suggestions for improving customer satisfaction and service delivery throughout Gujarat are presented in the paper`s conclusion.
