Abstract : This study paper analyzes the revolutionary change unfolding in India`s startup ecosystem with a focus on the quest for self-reliance fueled by digitalization, policy changes, and local entrepreneurial efforts. The core of this research is the strategy of Digital Swaraj, an overall model which harmonizes the Atmanirbhar Bharat program, digital governance, and localized innovation designed to bring about an independent and sustainable startup ecosystem. The research utilizes a mixed-methods design, marrying quantitative surveys, qualitative case studies, and in-depth policy analyses to explore the roles of digital infrastructure, financial inclusion, skill development, and policy frameworks in fostering self-reliant startups. Results demonstrate that systematic uptake of Digital Swaraj principles has the potential to substantially augment innovation potential, economic resilience, and digital sovereignty in India. In addition, the study suggests a tested Digital Swaraj Model by empirical data analysis, and economic modeling, emphasizing the confluence of technology, policy, and economic autonomy. The findings emphasize the potential of digital self-reliance to facilitate innovation-led entrepreneurship, making India a key stakeholder in the global digital economy.
