Keywords : Consumers, Buying Behaviour, Retail, Covid-19

Abstract : The worldwide spread of COVID-19 posed a serious threat to not just public health but the economy worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic caused a sea change in peoples mind sets and behaviours, including their intents and purchases. In the annals of retail history, 2020 will be remembered as a watershed moment when insurmountable challenges were finally conquered. Covid-19 pandemic situations, shifting consumption patterns of people, and the lockdown resulted in panic buying behaviour characterised by the frantic pursuit of necessities. These events illustrate how cultural factors and the influence of the social community on consumer behaviour play a significant role in shaping consumer decisions. Companies can benefit greatly from having an understanding of consumer habits. Companies may better manage the marketing mix, branding, and customer communication if they thoroughly understand their consumers behaviours and the elements that influence them. Consumer-influencing factors are often hard to pin down precisely because of how insular they tend to be. To that end, the purpose of this article is to examine how Covid-19 has influenced shoppers decisions. The studys sample size is 200 people from the state of Gujarat.
